Guarantee

  • We offer a 10 week exchange policy on all Damon Smith Gallery products. We guarantee delivery of photographs without any defects in product or craftsmanship. We cannot control the conditions under which you display or store your Damon Smith photograph and therefore accept no liability due to damage or wear and tear once the photograph is in your possession.

 

Returns

  • All of Damon's photographs are hand printed to the highest fine art standards in the world today. Should you wish to return your photograph, in original condition, you may do so within 10 weeks after purchase and obtain a credit towards purchase of another photograph. Return delivery costs will be at your expense. In the event that you have damaged your photograph you may purchase another at full retail value.

 

Photographs

  • Damon Smith images are available in open editions. 

  • Each open edition image is titled and signed by Damon Smith.

  • Images are supplied with a white border surround. 

  • Dimensions refer to the actual image size, and do not include borders or surrounds.

 

Framing

  • We encourage you to use the framing services of your local framer. We supply detailed suggestions for your framer about methods of mounting, matting and framing that we have found to give excellent results. 

  • Framing and matting adds to the outside dimensions of your image.

 

Pricing

  • Prices are in Australian dollars.

  • Prices include Australian GST of 10%. 

  • International sales will not attract the Australian GST of 10%.

  • International customers, please note that all taxes and import duties (if any) levied by your country are payable by you.

Delivery

  • All photographs are delivered free of charge in Australia. They are rolled in protective tissue and enclosed in a sturdy mailing tube. 

  • International deliveries incur additional fees according to the location. As a guide, for deliveries to Europe, the UK, USA and Canada allow for an additional fee of $A90 to cover postage and insurance.

  • Delivery time is usually between two to three weeks after receipt of payment.

 

Online Shopping

  • This is a dynamic E-commerce site. You can add items to your shopping cart by clicking "Add to Cart". You can view your list of purchases in the Shopping Cart and easily delete any items you do not need. Proceeding to checkout will take you to our secure server where you will be asked for your contact, address and credit card details. A confirmation of your purchase will be emailed to you along with an order / tracking number. You will be contacted again by email or phone about the progress of your order.

 

Viewing Images on the Web and in your home

  • Every computer monitor displays colours differently. Depending on where you are viewing online you may see colours slightly different to those on the original photograph. This also applies to viewing your photograph at home or in your office. Lighting conditions can change dramatically from room to room and you may perceive differences in colour compared to what you have seen online or in other locations. 

 

How long will images last without fading?

  • Damon uses the latest archival art papers and UltraChrome inks for all his photographs. Accelerated light fading tests predict a display life indoors, away from direct sunlight, without any significant fading, of over 100 years. 

 

I do not live in Australia. What is the best way to transport your images internationally ?

  • We use a safe method for shipping internationally which is to roll the unframed image in protective tissue and encase it in a sturdy mailing tube. 

  • We advise you to seek out a competent framer in your home town. 

  • We also supply detailed suggestions about methods of mounting, matting and framing that we have found to give excellent results.
