A cold southerly change had passed over the mountains earlier that day bringing fresh snow to the southern end of the Great Dividing Range. As the weather cleared, and the winds abated I was able to fly along the western face of the mountains in the calm evening air. Fog started to form in the valleys and before it rose up to obscure the view I was able to take this shot as the last rays of the sun cast a golden glow.
