While driving around "Paradise" in northern Tasmania early one morning I descended into a valley filled with mist. Following the road carefully for a few kilometres I eventually found this little stream amongst the trees and decided to wait awhile to see if the mist would clear. This scene was captured just before the morning sun had burnt off all the mist. The yellow light of the morning sun filtering through gave the whole scene a painterly like glow. An example of capturing a photograph that wasn't planned. It evolved once I was there.
