The lavender fields at Nabowla are some of the largest in the world. To get a distinctive photograph of them is certainly a challenge and Damon spent a number of days observing and waiting for the right light. Finally, with a position chosen for good composition with the strong curves of the lavender flowing out to the middle distance, Damon captured this scene with the final rays of the sun just before it disappeared behind clouds of an approaching storm front.
