Guarantee

  • We offer a 10 week exchange policy on all Damon Smith Gallery products. We guarantee delivery of photographs without any defects in product or craftsmanship.

Photographs

  • Damon Smith images are available in either limited or open editions.
  • Each Limited Edition image is titled, numbered and signed by Damon Smith and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
  • Each open Edition image is titled and signed by Damon Smith.
  • Images are supplied with a white border surround.
  • Dimensions refer to the actual image size, and do not include borders or surrounds.
  • Framing and matting adds to the outside dimensions of your image

Edition Numbers

  • The edition number refers to the total number of photographs that will be printed in addition to artist proofs. After all numbers of an edition are sold, that image will never again be printed as a photographic print, making your limited edition photograph a truly unique work of art.

Framing

  • You have the choice of using our framing services or your own favorite framer. We supply detailed suggestions for your framer about methods of mounting, matting and framing that we have found to give excellent results.

Pricing

  • Prices are in Australian dollars.
  • Prices include Australian GST of 10%.
  • International sales will not attract the Australian GST of 10%.
  • International customers, please note that all taxes and import duties (if any) levied by your country are payable by you.
  • Delivery costs for framed images vary according to destination. This will be calculated on receipt of your order and you will be advised of the additional cost.

Delivery

  • All photographs if purchased unframed are delivered free of charge in Australia. They are rolled in protective tissue and enclosed in a sturdy mailing tube.
  • International deliveries incur additional fees according to the location. As a guide, for deliveries to Europe, the UK, USA and Canada allow for an additional fee of $90 to cover postage and insurance.
  • All "Above Sydney - Northern Beaches" photographs are delivered free of charge whether framed or unframed to any location within Sydney's Northern Beaches. For delivery costs of framed photographs elsewhere please Contact us.
  • For unframed photographs delivery time is usually between two to three weeks.
  • For framed photographs allow up to five weeks for delivery.

Online Shopping

  • This is a dynamic E-commerce site. You can add items to your shopping cart by clicking "Add to Cart". You can view your list of purchases in the Shopping Cart and easily delete any items you do not need. Proceeding to checkout will take you to our secure server where you will be asked for your contact, address and credit card details. A confirmation of your purchase will be emailed to you along with an order / tracking number. You will be contacted again by email or phone about the progress of your order.
  • Delivery costs for framed images vary according to destination. This will be calculated on receipt of your order and you will be advised of the additional cost except for framed "Above Sydney" aerial images which are delivered free as noted above in "Delivery".

Viewing Images on the Web

  • Every computer monitor displays colours differently. Depending on where you are viewing online you may see colours slightly different to those on the original photograph. You will only be able to see the full richness of colour by viewing an actual Damon Smith photograph.

Returns

  • All of Damon's photographs are hand printed to the highest fine art standards in the world today. Should you wish to return your photograph you may do so within 10 weeks after purchase and obtain a credit towards purchase of another photograph. Return delivery costs will be at your expense.

How long will images last without fading?

  • Damon uses the latest archival art papers and UltraChrome inks for all his photographs. Accelerated light fading tests predict a display life indoors, without any significant fading, of over 100 years.

I do not live in Australia. What is the best way to transport your images internationally ?

  • We advise international customers to purchase an unframed photograph.
  • We use a safe method for shipping internationally which is to roll the unframed image in protective tissue and encase it in a sturdy mailing tube.
  • We advise you to seek out a competent framer in your home town.
  • We also supply detailed suggestions about methods of mounting, matting and framing that we have found to give excellent results.
