For the past three decades, Damon Smith has forged a career as one of Australia’s top directors to become an award winning film maker of adventure and wildlife films. Today, his passion lies in collecting the most stunning panoramic images of Australia and of exotic locations.
Damon has spent his life travelling to remote and often dangerous regions of the world.
From the wilds of Africa to close encounters with Everest; across the pure expanses of Antarctica and through the jungles of Papua New Guinea; Damon’s films and his photographs take you on intimate journeys into these magnificent lands.
Damon has also filmed in Greenland, Japan, Ireland, Irian Jaya, Turkey and Alaska.
Many of Damon’s stunning panoramic images are captured as a result of weeks of travelling and perserverance.

“The curve of a magnificent red sand dune in Australia’s Simpson Desert invites you to climb towards the evening stars along its very edge. The intricate opal like patterns of coral reefs along the Queensland coast seduce you with a kaleidoscope of emerald blues and greens.”

“By revealing to you these remarkable photographs of natural places, I hope to share with you my love of raw beauty. You will see how wonderful the world can be... it has so much to offer, for you to experience and to enjoy.”

Welcome to our world.
